Law School Tuition Costs

Law School tuition costs rise each year. The average full time tuition cost is on the chart on the right. On average, tuition has increased by 2.7% since 2011. As of last year, ABA accredited law school tuition averaged $35,378, not including the cost of books, or living expenses, which averaged an additional $15,000 – $20,000.

Highlighting over each year will show additional information relating to living expenses, and the average part time program. All information has been supplied by the American Bar Association, who takes a survey of the ABA accredited schools. Individual school profiles are supplied by the ABA and may be accessed here.

Some schools do not have part-time programs, if they do not, the cost associated with that program will be $0.
